Oral Connect

Built-in calling for dental teams

Make the call. Keep the context.

Oral Connect brings staff-led outbound calling into the same workspace as new enquiries, open treatment and recalls. Your team speaks with the patient, records the outcome and agrees the next step. Transcripts and AI summaries help the next colleague pick up the conversation.

Text version

Every call, transcribed and summarised. Recorded and transcribed as you talk. A summary the whole team can act on.

Illustrations explain the workflow; they are not recordings of live patient activity or evidence of results. Source availability and Dentally sync scope are confirmed during onboarding. Proposed or accepted treatment value is not collected revenue.

From first context to next step.

  1. Choose the worklist

Start with the Sales, Open Treatment, Recall or Re-engage Hub, based on why your team needs to make contact.

  2. Prepare the conversation

Review the available treatment and conversation context. Check the patient’s current situation and communication preferences.

  3. Call from Oral Connect

Use built-in calling or start an autodial session. Your team handles the conversation; do not confuse dialling assistance with an autonomous AI caller.

  4. Agree the next action

Record the outcome, arrange an appropriate next step and keep the follow-up visible. Review summaries for accuracy.

Turn call reviews into useful coaching.

A call count is a starting point. Review whether the team understood the enquiry, answered the question and agreed a clear next action. Use conversation context to coach treatment coordinators and improve handovers.

Five useful checks

  • Was the reason for calling clear?
  • Did the team understand the patient’s question or concern?
  • Was an appropriate next step agreed?
  • Can another colleague continue without asking the patient to start again?
  • Does the recorded outcome match the conversation?

Questions practice owners ask

Does AI speak to patients for us?

The workflow described here is staff-led. Autodial helps the team move through calls; transcripts, summaries and drafted messages support the team. This page does not advertise an autonomous appointment-confirmation agent.

Do we need to replace our existing phone system?

Oral Connect supports outbound calling from the platform. Discuss how this fits your existing incoming phone system, numbers, allowances and working arrangements during your demo.

How does it work with Dentally?

The Dentally connection supports open-treatment and recall worklists. Confirm the records, appointment updates, permissions and sync behaviour available for your practice during onboarding.

Can calls be linked to campaign performance?

Review the conversation alongside the recorded enquiry source and later outcomes. Campaign or ad-set attribution depends on identifiers captured and retained; it is not available for every conversation automatically.
